Greetings!

It is our great pleasure to extend a warm welcome to you as the co-founders of Cooperatives GIVE. This cooperative endeavor is not just the result of one person's vision, but a culmination of our personal journeys and aspirations. Together, we have strived to build something truly valuable and impactful.

For us, the journey began upon returning to Korea after living in the States for seven years. It was a homecoming filled with unfamiliarity, where we had to rediscover our homeland's culture, language, and traditions. However, it was during this time that a profound realization took hold. Through spending months with our grandmother, immersing ourselves in her world, we uncovered the immense potential for intergenerational connections. It was a chance for our grandma to share her voice and adapt to new media, while we gained a deeper understanding of our native country. We recognized the mutual benefits that younger and older generations could bring to one another.

Sadly, intergenerational interactions have dwindled in modern society, leading to a host of social problems and misunderstandings between generations. Traditional culture is at risk of being forgotten, and the older generation often feels neglected.

 

Cooperatives GIVE is dedicated to addressing these issues through intergenerational exchanges. We aim to create a sustainable impact on society by fostering meaningful connections between different age groups.
