Seon-Ke-Jeong Campaign
The Seon-Ke-Jeong Campaign is in short of 선비의 케렌시아, 정자 (Seonbi's Querencia, Jeongja) in Korean.
In the heart of Bonghwa-gun, there lies a hidden treasure that has remained largely unnoticed and forgotten by the passing of time. Countless jeongjas, traditional Korean pavilions, stand tall and proud, each with its own unique story and architectural beauty. Yet, it seems that the world has turned a blind eye to these remarkable cultural heritage sites.
The Seon-Ke-Jeong Movement has risen with a noble purpose—to shed light on these magnificent jeongjas, to revive their significance, and to ensure their preservation for future generations. We believe that these jeongjas hold the essence of Korean history, art, and philosophy, and they deserve to be cherished and celebrated.
Through our dedicated efforts, we aim to raise awareness and appreciation for the hidden gems of Bonghwa-gun. We strive to bring these jeongjas back into the spotlight, reminding people of their rich cultural heritage and the stories engraved within their ancient wooden frames. Join us in this movement as we embark on a journey to rediscover and protect the beautiful jeongjas of Bonghwa-gun, ensuring that their legacy will never be forgotten.
