"Curious about why the scholars of the old days erected so many pavilions in this small rural village, and intrigued by the stories and narratives behind each pavilion, I stumbled upon the fact that Bonghwa-gun in Gyeongsangbuk-do has the highest number of pavilions in the country. I couldn't contain my curiosity any longer. I decided to find answers to my questions. Thus, starting from last summer, I began more active research on Bonghwa pavilions and started writing a book alongside it."
